Braid out #2.

I did a braid out today!
About two days ago, I moisturized my hair with raw shea butter and plaited my hair. There were about 13-15 plaits. I kept them in for 2 days, because sadly I don't leave the comfort of my own home.

I used coconut oil on my fingers to take them out. I then used a pick at my roots for fullness and to hide the ugly parts. I think it came out beautiful! I've never been as successful with braidouts as I was today. *claps*

Stay tuned for yarn braids/genie locs! :)

  1. Hey I love your tumblr and visit your page all the time (I don't have one so I can't officially follow you) but I have natural hair too and was considering yarn braids. Quick question though were you going to do it yourself?

  2. Yep. I'm going to do them myself. I know how and I have plenty of time on my hands. So...yeah. When I do them I tell yall more about it. The type of yarn, how much time, what I did to prep and etc... :)

  3. Nice braid out. I always do that with my locks but it takes like a week to get a good crimp style.

Nice blog by the way :)

  5. I know! and this was on wet hair so there is lots of shrinkage. I'll do it on stretched hair one day. My actual hair goes to the top of my lip. :)
